Widgets
What Are Widgets?
Widgets are interactive cards that Cloa generates to present structured information — todo lists, message summaries, overviews, and more. Rather than plain text, widgets give you a visual, actionable format for the information you need.
Where Widgets Appear
Home Screen Briefing
The Home screen now features a conversational briefing that combines your schedule, messages, and tasks into a single flow. This replaced the older standalone widget dashboard. Learn more in Your Morning Briefing.
Chat Threads
Cloa can create widgets inline during conversations. For example, if you ask Cloa to organize your tasks, it may generate a todo list widget right in the chat thread.
Voice Calls
During voice calls, widgets appear as a swipeable carousel on screen, giving you visual context for what Cloa is discussing.
Widget Types
| Widget | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Todo List | Interactive checklist you can mark items on |
| Unread Messages | Summary of unread messages across your connected apps |
| Home Overview | At-a-glance summary of your day |
| Thread Widgets | Context-specific cards generated during conversations |
| HTML Widgets | Rich custom content Cloa renders for complex information |
How Widgets Are Created
You don't need to configure widgets manually. Cloa creates them automatically when structured information would be more useful than plain text. You can also ask Cloa directly — for example, "make me a todo list for this week" — and it will generate the appropriate widget.
